oil pan

Well today as I dropped the oil PAN I found pieces of black plastic and a bolt in the bottom of.the oil pan and some up in the screen. Cleaned it all out will keep u updated!

I would be REAL concerned about the material found in the pan. Had to come from somewhere......right.

The black plastic sounds like the fixed timing chain guide. I found the same black pieces and a broken-off bolt under the timing chain cover (from the disintegrated chain guide). Is the bolt you found broken off or complete with threads?
