Use the search function here on this forum. I believe portions of it was posted previously.

Sorry to only offer this as assistance. But this issue has been beaten to death and has become so tiresome, that nobody wants to speak about it anymore.

You can also use the search function to research the discussions as well.

Opps just saw you are from Hamilton. If that is the Hamilton in Canada, you will need the TSB for the Canadian GM, which is a completely different policy. Assist steps might be completely free.

It's too bad that you need to pay to see the TSBs. I have the sqeaky seat syndrom and before I'd take the car back to the dealer, I want the TSB in my hand, rather than get a run around from the dealer.

I have to really mash down on the brake hard and then it will come out. I've had at least 10 new cars in the last 4 years. None were like this getting out of park.

If you go to this site, and register ( it's free) they have all the TBS reports for the HHR. http://www.mycarstats.com

All that site gives you is the summary info. For the full reports you still have to buy them from Alldata.

Sorry to hear that. This is the first that I have heard of one. Engine compartment or some other area of the fire?

EDIT: really should of started a new thread for this and not put in with the recalls and TSP thread. Maybe a moderator might want to move this? only a suggestion, I've been wrong before.
