So is there a TSB on the fuel pumps yet? I have not been able to find it and would like to print it before I go to my dealer, I have already printed the paint chipping TSB...going to address this issue while shopping for 2nd HHR, still hoping for the right deal to put a second one in my driveway...

I thought we were supposed to keep this thread clean for TSB's only?

Well it has been a month since we have had any new TSB#s but we got a few new ones. Got them posted. And gave this a bump for the nembers that may not know about it.

On a side note it was kinda funny in a way to see TSB numbers for the 07 model years already so some cars. Seems like a lot of issues for caddy's and the new trucks.

Thanks Mr. D

Thank you for posting this info Mr. D. I had a place to begin when I took my HHR in for the steering (Clunking) noise. FYI they replaced the Intermediate Shaft and (lucky for me I had a good mechanic with a good ear) found out that took care of part of the noise, but not all. He discovered the steering rack was bad also. GM has a new part number for the replacement I was told. Also a TSB will probably be forthcoming. Thanks again.

The airbag TSB is close to what some of us have been complaining about but not exactly. Thanks for the information though. Greatly appreciated!

Found this for the seat covers

HTSA Recall Campaign Number: 06V417000

Component: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL

Details: CERTAIN VEHICLES ORIGINALLY BUILT WITH CLOTH SEATS THAT WERE EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC AIR BAG PASSENGER SENSING SYSTEM AND LATER REUPHOLSTERED WITH AFTERMARKET LEATHER SEAT COVER KITS ARE INVOLVED. TESTING HAS INDICATED THAT THE AFTERMARKET LEATHER SEAT COVERS CAN CAUSE THE PASSENGER SENSING SYSTEM TO MALFUNCTION.

Consequence: IF THE PASSENGER SENSING SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONS, THE FRONT AIR BAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE MAY BE DISABLED WHEN IT SHOULD BE ENABLED, OR ENABLED WHEN IT SHOULD BE DISABLED. IN EITHER CASE, IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THAT REQUIRES AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT, A FRONT PASSENGER'S LEVEL OF INJURY MAY BE INCREASED.

Corrective Action: BECAUSE A REPLACEMENT LEATHER SEAT COVER THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PASSENGER SENSING SYSTEM IS NOT AVAILABLE, GENERAL MOTORS (GM) WILL REPURCHASE THESE VEHICLES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS STATED IN GMÂ’S LETTER TO OWNERS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR ABOUT NOVEMBER 6, 2006. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT GM AT 1-877-477-1022 TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF REPURCHASING THEIR VEHICLE.

Units Potentially Affected: 794

Recall Initiated By: MFR
Date added to NHTSA datbase: 11/01/2006

Dwayne....

About 6 new TSB's in the past couple of days. Some HHR directed, some "general" in nature....related to all passenger vehicles, etc.

One in particular is very interesting.......dealers must return the original part that was replaced under warranty....Hmmmmmm
