6'3", 36" inseam. took me a few weeks to get it right but ok now. Power seat helps. I don't have it all the way back because then the steering wheel is too far away. I have a slight recline and tilt back because I have a sunroof and want the headroom. The roof is my indicator on when I need my hair cut lol.

6'1" -240
Was driving my Silverado b4 the SS,and being a spinal fusion patient I have a few issues with getting in/out of vehicles, more like folding myself up to get in/out LOL. The truck was prob the best, and mine and my wife's concerns about how the SS would be for me was prob #1 in choosing the HHR (Tho i woulda climbed thru barbwire to get the SS ,LOL.)

I drive a hr each way for work, and find i have to put on the cruise so i can move my right leg around a lil cuz it's kinda tweeked at a weird angle driving.I kinda let my lower leg lay against the left side of the console. Without having a back issue myself already, i can kinda see where there would be a problem with anyone taller than lets say 5'8" or so, or having long legs.

Got power seats, all the way back and down with the seatback up enuf as not to give me problems with the steering wheel (reach).

I'm 6'3" and if it wasn't for the power seat, I wouldn't own an HHR. The first one I tested had the regular seat, told the salesman it was not possible for me to be comfortable in this car. The power seat gave just enough room.

All my cars give me right leg cramps when I take long trips. I finally got the HHR seat adjusted that it isn't as much of a problem now. With the electric seats and multiple adjustments I did find a more comfortable position. Seat high, back with front of seat as high as possible. Since I'm only 5'10" no real headroom problems. I wish the steering wheel telescoped out, rather than just up and down adjustment. On the highway, I'm on cruise control and drive by button. I want a relaxed seating position.

One of the ONLY reasons that I can feel good about being a vertically-challenged male (5'7" after my back surgery) is that I can fit into almost any vehicle ever manufactured - including their back seats. (!)

I have the same problem. It's because the gas pedal is almost behind the center pillar that attaches to the console. In order th press the pedal my foot has to be turned to the right causing the bottom right hand side of my knee to be pressed firmly against the center pillar. It can be pretty uncomfortable on long trips if I can't use the cruise control. If the center dash pillar was about 3" narrower I would have no prooblem. As it is now, if I ever get into a frontal accident I will be dekneecapitated on my right leg.
Kevin

Oh yeah, I'm 6'3" with a 34" inseam.
