But P0011 is more likely to be a by product of the bad VVT valves. A quick look at the chain won't hurt anything.

That’s why I suggest it, easier to see the chain and the front guide , confirm if there’s a problem or not, if not put the valve cover back on.

Im just double checking that I can use the Cloyes kit and do not have to buy ACDelco for this part. I keep seeing all the ACDelco only posts so I just wanted to make sure. Thank you

I just purchased the Cloyes 94201SAWP kit. Purchased through RockAuto with discount.
It comes with both chains, balance shaft sprockets, crankshaft sprockets,guides and the water pump. $175.00
Don't forget the melling guide bolt.

Yes the Cloyes kits are preferred, available in different kits some with cam sprockets some without, depending on your engine and as mentioned with a water pump. We like to advise changing the water pump while the engine is apart for convenience, you’re gonna have dirty hands anyway, might as well do that now!
