P0102 and P2138 codes...?
P0102 and P2138 codes...?
I read the codes for my 06, hhr, 2.2L car today. could someone put in normal language what they said?
po102 mass or volume air flow A cirucit low imput.
po2138 throttle / pedal position sensor switch "D" / "E" voltase correlation.
On the po2138, is this saying the throttle /pedal position sensor is bad or is out of adjustment, and where is this? And on the po102 could there be a bad air filter or throttle intake at the air filter?
thanks for any info with this. I am making progress learning to understand this car but really miss those old vw's with the timing light bulb and clear inline fuel filter.

Could be the throttle body assembly crapping out. Air Idle, TPS, and electronics are sealed in one housing and replaced as one assembly. When was the last time it was cleaned out & how many miles on the HHR?
Throttle body needs replacing. I see you are in Florida. Has it been cooler lately when the problem occured? Not sure what part of Florida you are in.
If it's the throttle body, power train warranty will cover it.

thanks from NE Florida...
Well it is cooler now finally but still looking for some rain. This started a few weeks ago but we don't really drive the car too much so it hassn' t been a priority yet. We are at 4.5 years ownership so should it still be in warranty, with only 27000 miles.
2007 5yr/100000
Doesn't the powertrain warranty cover this engine problem? for 2007 and on cars? Either way I'm hoping it does. Just went to the chevy site and read the info, and will get a call in tomorrow.

I guess my diagnosis might be right.... We have another confirmation! Would like to know the outcome after you have it fixed.
