Pretty sure I found my issue. Checked the purge solenoid under the hood and it’s acting up. Getting stuck closed then open next time. Couldn’t blow through it this am. Hooked it back up and engine started perfect.

What brand is that valve? Amazon has been known to supply offshore counterfeit AC Delco parts! I got caught with that problem a few years back , ordered from RockAuto and have never had a problem.

I think it was a standard and from Amazon I’m pretty sure and I know what you mean and don’t buy from them anymore.

Just picked up a brand new one from Advanced and I’m stumped… I can’t blow through this one either.. all the stuff I read says if you can’t blow through it then it’s bad and if check engine light is on. I replaced the first one chasing a code years ago. But the started it just now to go get part and stalled out and was a hard start. Installed new one and started it a few times and no issue. But still check engine light. My work deals with this advanced all the time but doubt any warranty on electrical parts like this. Chances it being bad out of the box is really slim. Also I know when factory one went bad it was hard to start.

The under the hood purge valve is supposed to be closed, it opens after you start the car to purge vapours .

Well dang guess I got confused then. It seems more responsive so hope that’s it and cleared the light.
