You mean color TV's were made back then? The one in my house was black and white with a plastic colored film you put on the TV screen.

Our TV broke in 1953, it got used for furniture until we moved again in 1965 and won a 19" portable with a stand in a raffle at the furniture store.

Yep, I remember when broken TV's were used as furniture.......I remember not even having a TV till I was around 5 years old and I was born in '52!

It was a different time then. I hear pot goes for $200 or more an ounce now.
