The HHR is a totally different story. Parts of the car are panel painted and different air pressure, temperature, quickness of paint stokes as well as drying times can change the color hue just enough to add a different hue.

 

What sucks is that it's a significant difference. I bought my SS on a cloudy, gray day, and noticed it right away when the sun came out. I've got that damn 'conflict averse' personality that makes this a tough bastard to deal with. I know I'm going to have to put up with being shined on, and I'm not looking forward to it.
