I have had my 2009 HHR for a few years, about six months ago my passagners door will stay unlocked when I lock it, until I mess with it a few tines, and I also got stuck in my car on passengers side tried unlocking over and over I was stuck..lol,not really funny if it was an Emergency, (scary) after numerous attempts it finally budged..anyone else having problems with their locks, and sometimes my shifter doesn't want to go in gear...

 

The motor wears out. I think there is a thread or two relevant, try the SEARCH box.
