Ok,so thanks to this forum,I replaced the power steering motor 2 years ago. Recently,it went out again. I tried all the fixes posted here,including a new motor,still would work for all of 20 seconds and go out again.
Doing some research,I read an article where the TCM may be the problem,and then I saw this video:
Well,I tried it,and VOILA! POWER STEERING WORKS AGAIN!
Also of note: In front of that spot where the TCM is,the radiator top support bar,there is a thick cable for ground that is tied off to a bolt and nut,and the cable looked greenish...Maybe that's the ground itself? Anyway,I made a new ground with a sheet metal screw,some wire,two solderless hoop connectors and a small screw with a washer and nut in the hole in the TCM.
So,those of you suffering this problem,instead of spending a ton of money trying to fix it...try this low cost one first. It couldn't hurt to try. Post up if it worked for you.

You should check the other end of the wire, it is where a few wires come together on top of the transmission near the oil filter. A corroded ground can mean a short or a loose wire, either one.

It was quite cold and windy out today and no garage to work in,this took all of 10 minutes to do. When it warms up again soon I'll revisit this.
I’m of the old school of thought, check the simple things first, before you freak out and start ordering parts!
It’s much more cost effective, and remember, a shop is there to make money first, move parts of the shelve , fixing your car is a secondary result.
loose wires and corrosion can be cleaned up fairly easily.
BTW; Those youtubes about drilling a hole in the TCM to attach a ground wire are pretty stupid. The case is grounded with a wire in the connector that goes to that junction on the top of the trans and continues to the rad support.

Which is why I used the already-made hole in the TCM to insert a screw,washer,nut and a spade solderless terminal to ground it.
No drilling,save for the hole for the other end of the wire and a sheet metal screw.
