5yr/100,000
is correct for the drivetrain, also includes roadside assistance. my issue , i guess is under the 3yr/36000 bumper to bumper , but maybe not acording to the rep i just spoke to. i believe it is most definatlly a factory defect and should be fixed no matter what - with a smile and an appology! maybe this is the real reason for the state of the economy -the customer is allways wrong - i thought i was doing gm a favor, i guess they don't see it that way. every vehicle is a rolling billboard. i coulda got a scion-still not out of the ? i really hope that the dealer makes me happy , i would really like to tell everyone that i love my dealership as much as do or more than my hhr. i don't really want a scion.

Is your vehicle a Certified Used Car? If so, depending on when you bought it, your 3/36 would have been extended to 39 months and 39,000 miles. If you don't know give me the last eight of the VIN and I can tell you.

i puchased from private owner
it is totally paid for. i can't even afford full covered insurance. i strain my eyes looking out for deer. i offered 2 different dealers $17,500 cash for hhr with $18someting on the red tag , both said they couldn't take a penny less. i paid $15,900 , the guy owed about $17000 , he had to fork out the rest. the sticker was $23,535. when i got it it had 27000 miles , 2 weeks ago , now it has 35,200 mls. it is sweet and totally loaded. black w/cashmere.

i've got an 09 ss. when i picked up the car the sales guy noticed the carpet seam was bad on the drivers side and he would order replacement carpet. i took the car in for the carpet to be installed and the service manager called me later saying the carpet was wet and needed more time to find this problem. luck of my draw that i took it in on a rainy day. they said the firewall was not properly sealed. there wasn't a recall, but they said they had received something from gm that wet carpets might be a firewall seal problem. i don't know if this would include anyone besides 09 ss .

Service Writer Gives His Word
i took it to the dealer today. the parking lot was big , and full of cars , even our local public nusance , oops, i mean our finest had some of thier cars there . i don't know if the amount of cars is a good or bad sign. anyhow , the service writer , i think he is a manager , was very nice and said it would be no problem , and that i could come back next week , when they got a little caught up. ps-my comment about our finest- i try my best to respect them , even though some of them make it very hard. they have saved my life , and also tryed to make it a living hell. just depends on witch 1 you run into. as for the dealership , i am getting and trying to keep some faith. i will post the outcome.
