je suis de chicoutimi je possede un HHR moteur ecotec 2.2L voici mon probleme : code moteur p0121 throttle/pédal position sensor/Switch "A"circuit range/performance , alors je fait mon trouble shouting et rien a signaler je decide donc d enlever le throtlle body et a ma grande surprise il est geler par le froid cela provient du tuyau du vent du crankcase breather et avec 1 pouce de glace dans le fond du collecteur d admission (intake manifold) alord je me demande comment remedier a ca et si vous avez deja vue ca

problem with my HHR 2007 ECOTEC 2.2L throttle body and intake manifold frozen in -35c there is in 1" ice on down. Have you an idea to correct this probleme
I think that the probleme results by an moisture on engine !

Does your HHR have an engine block heater? Not ever sure if that would help @ -30°C. Being from somewhere that lowest tempeature we see is about 30°F (about -1°C), I have to ask: do people really drive in that type of weather?

That would be a GREAT question for a GOOD GM dealer, who should contact GM/Chevrolet Engineering with the question.

I know they would be extremely interested.

GM/Chevrolet tested these cars and engines in Kapuskasing (spelling?) and didn't have that problem....or maybe they did!!

 

I think to find a problem the previous owner did not maintenance this car , to result clogged with mud white on valve cover , i have clean valve cover and 2 flush engine and return normal
