Smile racked lower rocker panel

I grazed a curb and knocked the right rear rocker panel on my "06 HHR down about a half inch. I'm hoping to get it back in to position. How is it attached? I tried tapping it back in with my fist. It didn't budge an bit. Both the rear rocker panels are beat up...maybe I can find some used running boards. Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but it's usually plastic clips that slide into channels on the molding and pop into body holes. If you didn't break them yet, you might be able to fix it without too much trouble.

I broke a couple on my last car and ended up screwing the molding back on in the wheel arch.
