Thank you!

I think I will go to the junk yard tomorrow and the ones off the same HHR I took the radiator from.

Do I need to replace the AC line or will it be okay? That's the AC one btw (above the picture of me pointing at it.)

Also, any ideas on how to straighten the core support? I am considering calling some shops and seeing what they'll charge to replace it.

You can try a come along and a tree to straighten it. The right way to do it is to weld in a new one.

How structurally safe will the vehicle be doing it the cheaper way?

You should replace the AC line. If you leave it, when the system is recharged, it may leak out. Then you'll have to replace the line anyway, and pay for the recharge again, which is not cheap.

Thanks. Any advice on removing it? Is it pretty straight forward or is it easy to mess up like the transmission cooler?

I’ve not had to remove mine, the AC should be evacuated first .

Oldblue. It has either been evacuated or someone got a freon bath , because the AC condenser is already removed.

I think it all leaked out because when I took it out nothing really leaked out...

The hoses and everything are out- tomorrow I'm going to grab some from the junkyard and put in.

How much freon do you guys think I'll need?

It's not really a question of how much Freon. It needs to be done properly, by a technician with the correct equipment.
