Just wondering if the CD player should be displaying info about the CD on the radio monitor? It will disply radio station info and artist and song. Just wont do it for any CD. Cant remember if it ever has displayed it. it will only show track and after piushing info it displays "no Info"

 

Mine is and always has been that way. This is the 6 disc changer. Back in the early 90s, I had a Sony that would display the information of the disc. It even let me program it to skip certain tracks and remembered it for future play.

 

only time a cd can display that kind of info is if it's a mp3. regular cd's dont do that on any player.

 

It'll show info when you press the info button whether it's from flac mp3 wav whatever as long as you input that info when you're burning it.
Store bought only show info if it's built in.
Shooter Jennings - Black Ribbons released earlier this year is the only one that I have that shows the info.

I usually use CDRs so it would be nice if it would continue to show the info instead of bouncing back to disc#/track#

Yeah, I've had some that do, some that don't. Depends on what format, whether or not it's included in the codec, etc. etc.
