rear wiper

when the rear wiper is in use and after it does the "wipe" then returns to its normal position, it kinda bounces back up the glass...happens when i flip the switch on and off to get a one-time quick wipe, falls back down to its "resting" spot then bounces sometimes just a little up and other times bounces almost to an upright position..any ideas?

Silly question, but is it the right size? At Canadian Tire I was told it is an exact fitment number for the hhr. Not just any wiper that length will do.

Sounds like the wiper motor is going bad. The "park" position may not be engaging correctly. The wiper motor I believe is a non servicible unit. Have to replace the entire motor.

Hmmmmm. Any chance that the wiper arm is stripped or loose on the wiper motor shaft??? If so, then forget the 1st part of my post.

My old 2008 and my new 2011 both sometimes don't park all the way down.

Mine sometimes bounces up an inch or so from the full down position. I just hit the switch again, maybe a couple times, until on that swipe it rests all the way down.

I've never had mine bounce up more than an inch.

? I don't think that will fall under the powertrain warranty. And you won't have a B-B warranty left.
