Rear Wiper Fluid not Working

Can anyone shed some light on why my rear window fluid isn't pumping fluid. But my wiper is working.

Look at the hose under the hood at the base of the washer fluid tank for leaks, then look at the lift gate hinge area for leaks.

I will have a look under the hood in the morning after work. I haven't seen any leaking in the lift gate area. I took the HHR to the carwash again to clean out the door hinge areas and under the hood. And vacuumed the rear area and under the back seats...it was full of straw. And the other areas looked liked it had been stored under a tree...a
bunch of crumpled leaves and small tree particles.

Do you use -40 washer fluid or plain water? Plain water will freeze and burst pipes and motor seals.

I use actual windshield wiper fluid. Though I recently purchased this HHR...I would believe they used windshield wiper fluid too as there was a bottle left in the car.

Now comes the fun part, if the temperature outside is warmer, I think you said 60 degrees F , try the rear washer again, perhaps it was frozen

Then on to removing the rear panel to see if the hose or tube slipped off the squirted nozzle.
