2011 hhr drivers door wont unlock with the remote all other doors work fine have to use the key to unlock the door the lock knob goes up and down but it wont unlock the door without the key even after driving the car when you put it in park the lock wont work you have to pull the knob up to unlock the door all other doors unlock as normal.

 

Try lubricating the lock or your actuator is burnt out

 

The actuator is integral to the latch ($$$$). You might be able to install a generic actuator. Like this: 2 Set Car Truck High Quality Universal Power Door Lock Actuator Motor 12 V | eBay

I did that on my Mazda, just hooked it up to the mechanism and wired it into the existing wires,
