remote key for door lock MIA ?
Im not worried about the keyless start! I would just like to lock and unlock my doors and back hatch. The 3 button looks like all i need (Dorman #13737 ) should be the kit i need with the programer. But since it is suppose to have keylock remote do i need the programer kit? can i just get the keypad and re-whatever to make it work?
Hope i didn't get u guys as confused as me?
Thx!

If you have no fobs, then you will need the new fob including the rubber keypad and the programmer, as we know Dorman offers them together as a kit. You can program the 3 key fob if you want.
I don't get why you are confused.
If you are adding a new fob circuit board you MUST program/match the fob to the car.(PERIOD)
If you are keeping your old circuit board and replacing the pad and/or the case no programming/matching needed.
The car came from the factory with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE).
The car might not be equipped with Remote Vehicle Start (RVS).
You need a working fob to reset the TirePressureMonitor (TPM) positions.
Not all after market fob circuit boards can send proper codes for RVS or TPM reset.
The programming module will work for any compatible fob circuit board. That is why I recommend getting a Genuine fob in addition to the Dorman fob.
The Dorman program module has a limited number of programming events.
All Genuine fob circuit boards have contacts for RVS.
RVS signal is a combination of Panic+Lock.
2007 cars might not have TPM, 2008 - 2011 do have TPM.
The Owner Manual has instructions for resetting TPM positions.
The Owner Manual has instruction for turning RVS on/off.
The Owner Manual ha instructions for customizing the actions of the door locks.
