Remote Start Button Honks the Horn

I'm confused. Something happened yesterday and I'm not sure how to fix it. I walked out yesterday to the front porch to start Chubbs with the remote and it honked the horn. Hit "lock" button and the start button and again it honked the horn. Hit the start button and held it down and it seemed to act like the the panic button. I've switched the DIC to disable the remote start and then enabled it again and it still does the same thing. What in the world did I do and how does it change back? I've been using the remote start for almost 4 months and never had an issue till now.

Are there any trouble lights on, including TPS?

Why does it have to be this hard!!!!

Ok, I've checked my lights and all are working, hood is closed, fluids are full, no lights on the dash, sunroofs down, windows work as normal no changes in driving abilities, tires are properly inflated, no changes in temp readings, radio works, wipers work, fuses seem to be just fine. All seems to be well in the world.........Should I disconnect the battery for a reset of the system? Anything I need to do with the remote once the battery's back on?

Did you happen to lock the car with the key or the door buttons before this occurred? I wonder about the anti-theft system being in play. And the DIC has an option for the horn when locking/unlocking?

Both do the same thing.

Didn't get a chance to pull the battery today. Maybe the weather will be better tomorrow...

sounds like it may be a faulty hood sensor or connection to it. Not sure how to diagnose that one though...
