i have a 08 panel and my auto start stopped working. There is no check engine light on. when i try to start it the marker lights flash. So i guess it is receiving the signal. What i have read here is the hood could not be seen as shut is there a way to check if that is it. I did check the dic and the auto start is enabled. the dome light is not lite so i guess the doors are being seen as shut. Any help would be great thx

 

Are all of the third brake lights bulbs working? Has the hood/grill been damaged since the last time it worked?

 

Scan for codes.

Do you have two fobs? If so, do they both not work?

Do the lock and unlock buttons work consistently?

 

One of my remotes does not work. I have been meaning to try a new battery but since the 1 works I haven't gotten around to it. I will check that and see if that changes anything. no damage to the car. I will check the 3rd brake lights. Thanks for the suggestions. I will check up on this stuff and will update

 

One works the other doesn't would have been important information. Easy to check the battery, be careful don't dislodge the cage (that might be the problem).
