Yes, but some have the remote start button. Without the button the combo of Panic + Lock does the same thing; the inner circuit boards are the same.
New fobs will need to be matched to the car with either a Tech2 type scanner or a programming module. I recommend that you get Genuine GM fobs there have been some problems with "Chinese" fobs. The modules interface with the car, so it can deal with any compatible fob.

RockAuto has them ensure your RPO sheet has AP3 for remote engine start.
