I've had to adjust & only put 1/2 tank of gas in at a time, since it stays in there so long..

Yep, very pleased with me Panel !!!

50,000 miles as of Labor Day weekend. No laundry list here. Not even a Post-It note with a single scribbled item. Mine seriously needs it's fall clean-up and detail in preparation for winter, but that's the extent of it.

Oh ... yes. Will have to have tires before the winter weather sets in. But tread wear is an expected side effect of enjoying the drive.

Front p/s TPS sensor reading low, headliner rattle, sunroof rattle, rear hatch struts rattle, rear bumper loose from factory, center dash latch rivet broken. 21000 miles 2008 2LT. Runs excellent - looks good too. Just taking advantage of a great warranty. Hopefully when it comes back, I will have found a well made leveling/lowering rear spring set up. I would like to find a spring that's wound and mounts like ours, just physically lower in height.

Almost 150,000 miles on mine. Just replaced clutch master cylinder.
Drivers side wheel bearing went out at 140,000 miles.
Blinker stalk was not working for turning right,- took it out and sprayed it with contact cleaner, works like a charm now( that was 6 months ago.
Wiper mech let loose( the nylon ball in socket popped out and would not stay in). This part requires the entire wiper mech to be replaced. I drilled a hole through each ball and socket, greased and put a bolt and nyloc in place. That was 1 year ago and it works perfect since.
Front stablizer links had to be changed out - 1 at 30,000m and the other at 120,000.

It now has a few clunks in the front when pulling in and out of angled driveways, but it is most likely due for ball joints, tie rod ends and struts which is normal for any car at this milage.
I really cant complain, and just hope I can get 1 more year out of it before I have to replace the clutch.

Are you for real? Karma? Come on. Some people get lemons when they buy cars. I have had pretty good luck with cars.... till this SS. I have said I want to like this car, but have it up for sale and will dump it as soon as I can find someone to buy it. So far no takers. I may have got a lemon and that happens with a lot of cars......too bad GM seems to have more then average nowadays.

This car hasn't been too bad overall, but not great. 26K miles and here's what's been replaced:
Blower motor
3 TPM sensors
door strike plate (clicking when driving over bumps)
Turbo performance issues that turned out to be improper stage kit installation (not a GM defect)
Headliner rattle/misalignment
front end clunking fixed by strut and end link replacement

A lot of these were minor, and all were handled promptly by dealer service except the turbo issue as it was complex and parts took awhile. If it weren't for the 2 good dealers I have found around here for service, I might be very unhappy with this car but with them fixing it promptly, I am still pleased with the purchase!

Let's see. An '06 2lt.....

The infamous radio "pop"......Fixed under warranty.
The infamous ignition lock/auto gear shift stuck.........Fixed under warranty.
The windscreen of the sun-roof broken........fixed by me w/ OEM parts.

I don't believe that is to bad of a record. Could it be better....sure. But considering first year intro, I'm satisfied after almost 5 years.
