Are the stock rotors prone to warping? I have had my HHR for about five months now an it developed a front end shake when braking and figured rotors. Took it in and the shop said the front pads were in great shape but the rotors were warped and one had a little contact glazing. They resurfaced and put everything back together and all was fine.....for about two weeks. I am experiencing the same thing again. No hard braking or excessive brake use (Florida is pretty flat) and I haven't run through any standing water. Curious if the pads could be causing the problem or if the stock rotors are just weak material. Suggestions?

Try using the SEARCH box. That is probably the most frequent complaint about HHRs.

My personal opinion is that it is actually the hubs (front and/or rear) and/or the rear brakes.
