I seriously wouldn’t worry about the little hose #7 , just #14 and #2. Use Dexcool 50/50 mix coolant and an AC Delco 131-158 thermostat.

My original filler neck cracked, you may want to replace it also. Oldblue, do you have a link to the metal replacement filler neck?

 

Those codes indicate you forgot to plug the MAF back in after the air filter change.

Why are you worrying about 204F in Houston stop and creep traffic? That sounds pretty normal. The temp is supposed to be ABOVE 180F and the fan doesn't come on until 219F unless the AC is on.

$100 labor for the t-stat is NOT a good buddy deal. Only 2 bolts and lose about a thimble full of coolant. Much more important to replace the over 5 year old Dexcool; it has a 5 year shelf life.

 

Replace part #4 and #6 when replacing hoses. Part #4 can crack, allowing coolant to drip onto the alternator. Do this as a preventative measure.
