Service ESC appears when its cold

basic scanner do not show any codes, and the car do not want to start while the service esc warning is up on the dash. Not really sure what to check, tires are all properly inflated and this just happens when the weather is around 40 or below. I dont really wanna take it to the dealer and for them to comeback empty handed and me 70 bucks in the negative.

My guess would be there is some moisture in one of the electrical connectors.
Why would you even consider a dealer? The mechanic down the street knows just as much.
