Check the wires and connector on the top of the alternator.

 

Checked .. nothing seem to be broken or shorted ..

 

That was one of those first few things I checked .. I took a photo of those ground nuts in post #14 ... Scroll up to see it

All nuts are tight and ground wires cannot be moved at all by hand so it's tightly bolted down.

 

I made a video of the dashboard the other day ...

At first only just engine check and traction amber lights come on then about 2 miles driving the rest of the lights (security / brake /ABS / etc ) comes on and HHR would start shifting really hard or jerk forward when giving it gas.

I see in post #14 the ground wires are tight, but you do not indicate they are clean! Did you take them apart and clean any corrosion off then tighten them back up , preferably with a little dielectric grease.

I watched the video , seems like a loose or broken wire , the multiple warning lights on the dash board, also indicate a low voltage battery issue, anything under 12.4 volts will cause this type of problem, and or a dead cell or 2 in the battery.

 

I will take the ground off and clean it when I get home from work. Praying that will fix it ....

The battery in it is 2 years old reading at 12.6 sitting volt and I have tried 2 different batteries and one was from my Dodge Grand Caravan which was reading 12.8 sitting volt and it still did the same thing. The battery was too big to fit in the mount but I just had it sitting on the floor while I drove it around to see if it still does it.

I am sure it broken wire or loose cable or bad module ... I wish there was a easier way to pinpoint the issue and fix it.

Nearly a month ago, you said you were going to check if the battery terminal(s) were broken. You have not reported on that.

All these things that you say you checked, are you just visually checking, or are you testing?

 

The OTHER end of the radiator support ground is on the transmission. That is what you asked for.

 

I know this post is several months old but just wondering if you have been able to successfully flash your BCM yet?

I am experiencing the issue where everything on my car is going crazy and after further research on the internet, it pointing toward to bad BCM so before I can get one from junk yard, i need to find a way to flash it myself with the subscription service.
