Service ESC Traction control ESC off
Let's try to go thru this.
"Okay I need some help
the serpentine belt broke the other day, the battery light came on, I drove 4 miles to my house, used a different car and got new serpentine belt, installed it and now the
Service Traction Control warning
Service ESC warning
ESC OFF warning and icon
have come on!
had my mechanic try to clear the codes
unsuccessfully
any ideas as to what my issue is!
absolutely no change in the way car drives"
Got the help thing.
If the belt broke, on a long shot, it caught the wires to the front hub on the right side to cause the ESC to come on.
Have your "mechanic" look into this possible problem.
Ask your "mechanic" why he/she can't erase the codes ?
If codes are still there and the check engine light is on it's a hard fault.
If not, you can still (with the correct code reader) see what they are.
CEL= Check Engine Light. This comes up on the dash readout-- CHECK ENGINE-- when a trouble "code or codes" is set.

The above are not "codes" but Warnings. You don't clear Warnings.
