db/sb.
I think donbrew moved "Kayla's" post into it's own thread. I guess CCS answered her before the post was moved.

And, fwiw. She actually signed the post as Kathy.

I'm thinking she does that because it's her name. I recall the post. Somehow 'muckala' became 'Kayla' to CCS??

This is the third time my ESC light comes on and lose speed and steering. I had exhaust solenoid and left tire pressure monitor replaced. Now a month later I again had an issue with ESC light and lose of steering and slowing down. I pulled the car over turned it off and is fine. Just like before. I was driving under 30 mph. Chevy needs to recall and fix this problem. I don't know what would happen it I was on the freeway. Please advise.

Welcome to the site!, first what are the codes if any?
Second , what year?
Third, what model?
Fourth , which engine and transmission?
Fifth, any damage to the suspension?

Have a read through this thread,

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/ss-s...e-29027/page5/

As for a recall, as the HHR has been out of production for 5 years , very little chance of that happening.
Your energy will be much better spent understanding the cause and repairs!
If it is your electronic steering control motor , that is under extended service, see your local GM dealer!

Have you had the ignition recall done? If not, that sounds like they have done what you request! In the mean time, count the number of keys hanging from the ignition switch; keep it down to 2-3 keys.

Do any other lights come on? Any odd new sounds, like a bad wheel bearing?

What do you think the tire pressure monitor would have to do with it?

Publishing your email address is a horrible idea! You have given permission to anyone that sees it to use it in anyway they wish; spamming, spoofing etc. Contact the admin by PM @843de.

ESC @ traction control DIC display

I've searched for info on these warnings. Mine showed after I changed the air filter and brought the tire pressure up to specs. Could any of the actions trigger these msg?

The air filter and tire pressure sould not have anything directly related to the error lights, however in changing the air filter you might have accidently jiggled some wires under the hood loose.

Read this whole thread for other suggestions - hub etc..

Thanks. I'll start checking for loose stuff and hope I'll not cause further problems. This is the only problem I've had since the steering & key issues. Thanks
