on my "new" 2006 hhr, i hear a subtile but distinct fuel "slosh" sound when backing into my garage...also can hear it when i bounce the suspension.......more pronounced when the tanks just bout full.............anyone else hear this sound..??

 

yes when I drove it home a long time ago. I don't even hear it anymore it's just my car, I drive and love it. other sounds will come and go just drive and enjoy

 

Yeah, an occasional slosh/gurgle from the fuel tank is nothing to worry about. Now a slosh/gurgle/burble/bubbling noise from the dash are is something to pay attention to. That's almost always a sign of low coolant because the system is burping air and you really hear it, so if you do get that noise from your dash area...check the coolant level ASAP.

 

nah...only hear it(faintly) from the fuel tank........was just curious......funny...dont hear it with the radio on.... thanks again.
