Angry SMOKE In The Shop

I was headed to work this morning and when I started up my HHR, I heard a weird sound...kinda like the noise you hear when the CGS filter is banging against the car. Got out and checked to make sure it wasn't loose and started car back up and noise was still there.

At this point, no lights were on, so I figured I would drive it a couple blocks and see if it was ok. Started going up the main street by my house and check engine light came on and power reduced. Called dealer from cell phone and they said drive it up there...I said, with the check engine light flashing? He then said if it was flashing, to pull it into the nearest parking lot and call Roadside Assistance.

No diagnosis as of yet...but for your viewing pleasure.

The brightest part of the whole thing...being towed by a NASCAR towtruck.

See if you cant get the diagnostic code that comes up out of them. That way we will have a record of it here in case any others should have the same problem.

I love the photos! I bet it felt like leaving your child with a babysitter for the first time. Hope everything works out and Smoke is back home soon!

It's never a good picture to have your car on a tow truck. I hope it's nothing serious.

At least it's a Chevy hauling a Chevy

Sorry Deb. I know, SOMETIMES, these things can be depressing and/or frustrating. It will work out for the best

Oh and did you have coffee or a rib, at Micky D's, while you were waiting??
