Today my prayers were answered and after nearly $600 later I have a heater!

 

So what was the fix?

 

 

Would somebody translate, please? For a couple of reasons I can't read sideways.

Basically $245 labor+ $234 blower kit + tax and misc.= $536

Wow! I'm sure glad I can do my own repairs.

 

It seems that I was not able to explore the whole wire connection from the resistor, as I did purchase all new parts including the resistor, HVAC control switch, and blower motor, AND install all of them with no solution.

When they found the connection it seems that the blower motor was drawing too much power and caused the wires to melt.

To think it cost me 90 bucks or so to fix this issue.... OUCH. At least its fixed now.

 

 

So, from the work order , it was a melted wire at the fan connection, blower fan motor drawing to much amperage and a blown fuse for the power plug.
Well at least it is repaired and everything is working now!

 

That blower kit was a bit steep!!!
