Turn till tight then about an 1/8th or 1/4 turn after that. No more or less. Otherwise just torque em to I THINK 15 FT/LB

Don,

Would you recommend OEM or aftermarket or does it even matter? The car has 140,000 miles only thinking of changing because I have the opportunity to do so!

If you are asking about spark plugs use ONLY ACDelco 41-103. They should be changed at 100,000 miles, many last much longer.

And installing them in a hot engine, then torque to spec, can cause the threads to pull (strip) as engine cools & contracts.
Cold install is safest bet. .

41-103 comes gapped correctly and can be damaged trying to change. Other cheap plugs may have a different spec, plugs are different. Somebody may have fat fingers. Trust the box, not the internet typing skills.

Change them when you want to; but, the "book" says 100,000 miles. I have seen them last much longer.

hey Donbrew. Just to be clear Ac Delco 41-103 is one size right. Cause amazon is telling me Ac Delco 41-103 does not fit my HHR I've attached a screen shot below.
