Speakers cutting out

Hello i got a 2007 hhr stock radio and stock speakers well one minute my speakers work next minute my tweeters only work ,my wife was driving it and hit a bump now all speakers work it is just crazy maybe a loose connection or what? trying to firgue it out any inputs thanks ..

If you can hit a bump and they all work then say hit another bump and only some work then I would think it is yes a connection issue. The issue probably lies at the speaker(s) that stop working. That could be a wiring issue or the speaker tinsel leads going to the VC of the speakers. The fact that the tweeters stay good always suggests after the wire splits to go to the door and the a-pillar.

just a update the only speaker in door on driver-side and tweeters work and the passenger side door speaker do not work,so my question is would it be the main harness for the door speakers be loose or would it be at the speakers in the door? also sometimes both door speakers cut out ,thanks

I had this happen once with my first car. Turns out the original owner didn't wire the stock radio back in good enough when removing he aftermarket stuff.

Well this is the stock radio and speakers and for being five years old this should not of happen..

My Rear Speakers went bad within 2 years... Had them changed under B2B.
