It appears the back lighting on the speedo numbers is not working, the mph is lite but not the numbers, could I have shut them off by mistake while changing from mph to km or anything else I could have done in error, is there anything I might check before taking it in to be checked at the dealer

 

Well since I've done it while detailing, check the instrument panel dimmer control over the radio. Its easy to turn the lights all the way down by mistake, unless the "auto lights off" function is activated...I can't think of anything else...

 

yep I have done that myself I would check that first.

 

Thanks for the suggestions, just tried both and neather worked, for some reason they work for night time driving but not for daylite, I know they worked before, owell off to the dealer on thursday

 

My SS has a weird time delay. With auto lights off, The radio remains bright, But if i go under a bridge, the lite will go to barley visable for up to two min. before the radio brightens back up. Weird, some how the radio knows, and is effected buy the auto lights, yet there off. ?
