So my car has been leaking fluid and i stopped by the tire place next to my job and they said its definitely transmission fluid... that a piece of my starter and gotten pushed back to the point where it has hit my front pump seal on my transmission. How do i fix this?!?!

 

I guess it would be logical to go to a transmission shop and figure out what all of that gobledy-goopp means.

 

Yeah, get a second opinion, that sounds like BS. If the starter still starts the car, it can't be in the wrong place.

 

X2 on the 2nd opinion.
The starter doesn't even line up with the trans pump housing. The starter bolts up on the outer edge of the trans bell housing area.

that gear toothed wheel is the flywheel it is bolted to the torque converter in an automatic transmission drive train
kinda hard for the starter to damage the front pump seal and still work to start the car.

In this photo we see the shaft in our right , it’s the shaft driven by the torque converter, that’s the front seal area, the starter sits in the D shaped recess on the right

 

I had to have a starter put on it a few days ago, maybe it was caused from the old starter?!

The point is that the tire shop is either spouting poppy**** or you are misquoting them. The sentence that you have presented makes no sense. They couild not have seen any of the seals without spending 8 hours removing the transmission, and charging you for the effort.

 

I think you should not get stuck on the starter, even if, for an incredible miraculous reason, the starter was pulled into the transmission (perhaps Houdini rose from the dead to install a new starter).
Focus on finding transmission fluid leaks. Consult a professional for this.
When you find a leak, you will find the cause of the problem. At the same time, make sure that the starter is still in place, so as not to be distracted by this in the future.
