I agree with the others that this is a likely possibility in your case. It's worth it to spend the $30 and try it first.

Great thank you! Haven't had a lot of problems with her so this is all new to me! Thank you for all the advise.

Look in the common parts thread for part numbers. The valve runs about $18, but you will need a wiring harness adapter, they cost about the same, sometimes it is included which explains the wide variety of prices.

Here's a how-to on it's replacement - looks like an easy job once you get under the vehicle: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...acement-44780/

Guess its good I asked you all about this, stopped to have my check engine light diagnosed and this time this is the code that came up instead of another sensor that is bad! Thanks again for all your help! Going to crawl under it tonight and take a look!

Can anyone tell me where to buy the parts for this? Apparently all we have is people that don't know what they are doing at the local parts places. Been trying to find a sensor for under the hood too...ugh

I don't know either. Have you followed any of the above advice? Like following links and going to the common parts thread and doing testing.

You never did post a code number.

I didn't post a code because everytime I check it, it pulls the code for the bad sensor under the hood for something else not this problem. I have tried searching and calling around but there seems to be different parts etc and no one knows what I am talking about.
