Yes, a bad battery can kill an alternator, and a bad alternator will kill a battery. Maybe she'll be lucky and caught it before the battery is killed. Sounds like it's pretty discharged at best.

 

Well I installed a new map sensor, was able to attempt the CKP relearn on my auto enginuity. It will continue running now, but still running pretty rough and surges. Still getting codes p0315, p0030, and p0108. Her key has a + in a circle. I read some where that the CKP relearn can't be done if there is other codes present. But it said it was successful. After looking at it more someone has definitely messed with this thing the fuse box isn't even bolted down all the way lots of connectors are not secured.

 

If you have a current P0315 the learn was NOT successful. That means the data
I am assuming you know the difference between current and historical codes. has never been installed.
The P0108 still there means wires.


A frequent problem is the 4 bolts that hold the under hood fuse box together are not tight enough. When you tighten them keep going until you hear a few clicks, way past "I fear they will strip".
