Supprize! When I stopped to park my new 2010 HHR Panel leftover with only 328 miles on it, the key got stuck and I could not get it out. It was stuck in ACC position. So I just got through reading 4 pages of stuck keys and decided to join this forum. It's great. Thanks. But the stuck key still goes on.

 

Sorry to hear your having a problem already but welcome to the site if it has happened before some one will likely come to help you.

 

On the bottom of the steering column you'll see a little square door hatch. Pop that open with a screwdriver, and inside there you should feel a little release switch. Flip that and your key will come out... But you'll need to get it fixed by the dealer, that hatch is just a way to get the key out when it gets stuck. Until it gets fixed, you'll have to keep opening up that square to reach in there.
