Sudden Unintended Acceleration
Honestly. A split second action is usually performed differently than remembered. I have been through MANY vehicles and thick floormats were usually the reason any pedal gets stuck. Had a BMW and it happened all the time. I'm glad to hear she's alright.
Should we not question the validity of posts made by people? Are we to just accept what we've been told is true and never look further? Parts of the description of events are impossible for a car to pull off. You can reprimand us for calling the OP out on the "truthiness" of his post, that's fine, but I don't think any of us regret having asked for more details and/or pointing out any flaws in the story.
Kudos to Hillsdale for offering assistance, but it doesn't make us bad people for doubting the veracity of the OP's claims as to the event in question. It's the internet. Never take anything at more than face value on the 'net.
To answer directly, is questionable in itsself. If I myself was indeed a liar, and I spouted some BS story and got called on it, nah I wouldn't come back. If I was a truthful person and spouted a story perceived as BS yes I would come back and defend myself/daughter.
