Sun roof functions got stupid
Sun roof functions got stupid
Hi
Used the search box up top and didn't find the answer to my post.
Last season the sun roof worked with both buttons.
Used them now this season and both don't want to follow the command of it's button.
Using the left one to side all the way back only goes 2".
Use the right and it only lifts half way.
Have to play with both switches to close the roof all the way.
Educate me on this.
Did read to do the battery disconnect thing. Haven't tryed it yet.
Thanks

Just remember, disconnect the NEGATIVE cable for about 30 minutes.
It's not You I'm reminding about the battery terminal, but our newest Members who might be tempted to just undo either battery cable without realizing the utter havoc that they can unleash by pulling the Positive cable.
For the uninitiated in the art of the "My HHR has gone nuts, should I try a Lobotomy?", pulling the wrong cable risks the real possibility of frying your electronics.

Had to look that up

Unplugging my PC and pushing the power/on button discharges the capacitors.
Thought I would need to do something like it in the car other than just waiting for it to happen.
