Yeah I'm familiar with the layout in the first link, but I wish the second link went into more detail about the tube being disconnected, and how to fix it lol.

 

The tube just pushes onto a nipple, age causes plastic parts to be brittle.

For instance, the tube to the rear window washer frequently breaks.

 

Oh you mean how the tube connects to that stopper thing at the outlet. Hmm. I'll check tomorrow, but Boyne wish that didn't involve removing the door.

Well, it WAS definitely clogged, so hopefully the dripping was just an unfortunate thing that happens when I pour a bottle of water down the tube to see if it's flowing, and a simple storm won't inundate it with too much water. Here's hoping.

 

First and foremost, never purchase a vehicle with a hole in the roof, They all leak eventually.

 

Duct tape, doesn't last very long no matter how many rolls you use!

 

So the other day was a rate occurrence here in NY... we had rain, and then the next day it dropped into the teens. I happened to look in my car, and the passenger side had leaked (again- I'm well versed in this annoyance). I learned that it as because the drain outlet was plugged with ice. I managed to break it up with hot water and a wire.. But I noticed today that the driver side was clogged too (that'd not as big a deal because my driveway kind a leans to the passenger side). Now, there's no rain in the extended foreast, wwe're gonna be very cold for a while now, so I'm not worried this is gonna leak again... But like, what' t best way to melt that stuff?? It's so inconvenient.
