Sunroof inoperable/air bag light

Just picked up an 06 LT.
the guy I got it from was kind enough to tell me how he had tried to jump it recently buy using the two terminals on the under hood fuse box. Claimed that was the reason for the air bag light and that the sunroof fuse must have blown at the same time.
Its been single didgets here so havent been able to fool with it much other than checking fuses, relays, and cleaning up some problem connections, all have resulted in no positive results. I'm thinking the damage might be deeper than fuses. The fuse for the sunroof was bad and replaced with no luck.Ive had several of these but never ran across this before.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of someone crossing these terminals resulting in the same problems and what might be the fix.
Was hoping someone here could give me some suggestions so I don't have to spend a bunch of time in the cold digging around
Thanks much

I suggest start off with tightening the 4 bolts in the under hood fuse box .

To start; what 2 terminals under the hood? If they meant the 2 on the fuse box, the one nearest the firewall is to the electric power steering and should have blown that fuse, sometimes it causes other computer problems. The correct jump start points are in the Owner Manual, link in my sig to a free digital Owner Manual. All of the fuses are also shown in it.

Sunroof fuse is #20 in the BCM fuse panel inside on the passenger side of the console/waterfall and #10 in the under hood fuse box

Use a meter or test light to find bad fuses. You can test an entire fuse block in a minute or two.
