Sunroof issue
Sunroof issue
I couldn't find anything remotely close to this so..
I recently had the entire fuse box replaced due to a burned out connector in the back of it, now my sunroof has absolutely no power. Took it back to mechanic, fuses are good, BCM checks out and dealer said its not necessary to reprogram again, because it only takes one shot to scan vin for whole car. Short of tearing down the headliner to check switches and wiring, anyone know or heard of anything similar before I have this done?

Fuses are good....but make sure power is on the "down side" (to the sunroof) from the fuse box.
Many fuse boxes are installed (including from the factory) without making sure the pieces are joined correctly......the boxes are 2 pieces. From there, I would check the wires leading to the sunroof switch....then of course, switch to sunroof motor. Probably would only need to remove the "a" pillar molding and the switch cover.
After that....good luck!!
