Sunroof rattle

Sunroof rattle
i've tried searching and all i could find is headliner rattle......i have an 06 spring edition and when i go over bumps the sunroof rattles terrible. i can push up on the sunroof and it stops(this happens when the sunroof is tilted open or fully shut). So what im asking is if anyone had this problem and is there bolts or an adjustment to fix this? thanks in advance.

I had the problem with my SS at 16,000 miles , The dealer tried to adjust it and made it worse. Ended up with complete sunroof replacment free of charge.
A tip, Keep the rubber seal lubbed with silicone, when the rubber seal gets dry , Or you dont use it for a long time, And got to vent it, It will pop because it's seal is strong which stresses the parts, You'll now because of the pop sound when the seal breaks, that is stresssing all the parts of the sun roof and leads to part failures and stress (rattles). Been there , Just glad it happen early on.

'07, will be three years old 9.1.10 and has 27K on it -- no rattles when I go over bumps -- and unless it is raining, mine is always open or popped up.
If it's really that bad and you're still under warranty do what Batman did and get it replaced (did have to do that at 10 months when a piece broke, but have had no problem since).

A test is to take your hand with the sun roof closed, And apply a bit of presure up , If there is play and you can raise it just slightly , You've got issues, You should not be abble to move it when its closed.

Mine only does it when the roof is shut, wasn't an issue the first two years. If I push up on the roof I can get the rattle to stop but that doesn't work well for very long. This is definitely a rattle sound occuring over bumps ect.

Mine's covered. I will add this to my list of replace this sh*t it rattles items. I also have the beauty bar dimples from the 235th time adjusting the hatch strikers and opening/closing the hatch a bazillion times. Im on a mission to rid this thing of rattles.
