I just remembered $7e8 is the designation for the ECU and $7ea is the TCM.

On my reader it asks me to choose one.

So forget the past post.

Yes, or read the instruction booklet that came with his. I think that it is actually asking for him to choose a module ($7e8 ECU). The other one does not supply much useful info.

Thanks for the info. I've tried to read the manual nad have yet been able to decipher all the information. Guess I will have to get one of my tech savy grandkids to help.....
