I have a 2009 HHR with the 2.2 engine and my check engine light came on this morning. I took my car to Autozone and had them read the error code. It said I needed a tempature switch, which I purchased. I have looked both online and in stores for a Repair Manual for my car. Does anyone know where I can get the manual, or tell me how to replace this switch?

Do you know what the code was that the store downloaded for you? Posting it here might help someone in the future.

 

I am guessing we are talking the fan switch here, I did not know that would throw a code.

 

I would never trust a Parts Store diagnosis!

They kind of point you in the direction, and then you keep on replacing and buying parts until you correct the problem.
