I was getting a thunk thunk sound when I would go over speed bumps. Decided to change the sway bar bushings yesterday as suggested by some threads. Now the problem is gone. NO more thunk sound.

Its about 1 1/2 hour job. What is a pain is lowering the 10 mm bolt enough to remove the nut. Would have been 1 hour job if it was not for those bolts. If the links are firm and have no play, then go for the bushings.
