My right rear used to periodically go flat when I drove past Quantico MCB; the NSA has a big base there. I assumed it was from RF jamming and the RR being farthest from the RCDLR. If you have any electronics in the car, including a sub-woofer/amplifier/OnStar/XM they could block the RR.
It's illegal to speed, also This TPMS is ridiculous. All that was wrong with my original sensors was a dead battery. They could have made it replaceable, but noooooo....... gotta buy $50 sensors that may or may not work properly..... all because some people are stupid and don't maintain their vehicles

No maintenance for the sensor, just replace them.

This is true. The battery is just a basic button cell with some connectors welded on. You can actually buy them like that, and with some soldering and fabricating skill re-power your sensors. Not worth the trouble, for most of us. But I see no reason someone couldn't sell a sensor with a snap-in battery.

It would have to be a pretty secure snap in, centrifugal force and all that.

65 MPH is only about 880 RPM? (Didn't check my work, but I know yer wheels don't spin all that fast.) I'd be more worried about the impact from hitting bumps. If we can figure out how to make the sensor stay on the stem, we can make the battery stay on the sensor. Just little motivation.
